*Freak City is a Bordeaux-based illustrator born in 1984. Drawing on pop culture since childhood, we now see the main influences that have shaped his style, somewhere between American comics and punk aesthetics. Having learned his craft in the underground scenes of micro-publishing and indie rock, he has kept his energy to define his personal universe, between retro-futurism and urban rock. From his usual drawings in Indian ink or screen printing on textile and paper, we now see their evolution in sagas or volumes, and in the press, where we can find most of his work (Le Monde, Newsweek, GQ, ESPN, Science, SoFilm...)
